Jim Heim

Jim Heim is a Managing Director in the Boston office, where he specializes in executive compensation and short- and long-term incentive compensation strategy and design. Much of Mr. Heim’s work focuses on the design of executive compensation programs for the technology industry.

Prior to joining Pearl Meyer & Partners, Mr. Heim worked in a variety of compensation consulting roles at EMC Corporation, with responsibility for the design and implementation of a broad range of short- and long-term incentive programs for executive and broad-based employee populations. He has also held positions at the Gillette Company and One Beacon Insurance.

Mr. Heim holds an MBA with a concentration in human resources management and a B.A. in Psychology, both from the University of Kansas. He is a Certified Compensation Professional, a Certified Equity Professional and a faculty member of WorldatWork, serving as a course instructor for “Principles of Executive Rewards.”
